1. The teams will play using the 2-4-2 Method of getting all players involved. The system will be as follows:
- Each team will set a batting order using all players at the game. - You will bat through the complete line-up. - Nine or Ten players will play the field, Ten players is an option for either team using 4 Outfielders. - At the end of the second inning, all of the players who set on the bench for the first two innings will go into the field for the rest of the game. - At the end of the fourth inning the players who were removed from the field at the end of the second inning will go back into the game for any of the players who played the first four innings.
In the above manner each player will play a minimum of four innings.
. 2. TEN BATTER RULE OR 5 RUN RULE - each inning a maximum of ten batters will bat or 5 runs wich ever comes first, When the tenth batter goes to the plate or 5 runs are scored the official scorer will notify the Plate Umpire and the Managers. The tenth batter CAN NOT reach base on a walk. The batter must either strike out or put the ball in play and then the inning is over.
3. TEN RUN RULE – If at the end of 3 ½ innings (4 innings if the visitor is ahead) there is a 10 run difference in the score, the losing manager MUST concede the game. Spartan, Oak Grove and Oak Ridge Board of Directors hope this situation will not arise often. Each manager should play each game so as to not run up the score. When the game starts getting out of hand, all managers manager should substitute his younger players into the game.

This document will be completed by the official scorer and signed by the scorer after each game. In the event a Manager fails to bring the affidavit to a game, the opposing manager will inform the umpire and official scorer that the game is being played under protest. The manager of the team without the affidavit will then have 48 hours to prove he did not use an ineligible pitcher. If it is found an ineligible pitcher was used, the game will be forfeited.
