I am so proud of our league and families and how all of us came together giving back to the community in the spirit of friendship!
This past Saturday on April 26th, the AAA Thunder held a bake sale organized by their mom's to help raise money for the Northern California Arthritis Foundation on behalf of one of their teammates, Jimmy Garcia who suffers from this crippling disease.
I would like to thank all of you who baked or bought goodies and the yummy treats that were enjoyed by all. Thank you to our neighboring league Oak Grove, as there were families from their league who also participated.
Our families helped raised over $650 at the bake sale and the league will also be making a donation from our days snack shack receipts in addition to your generosity on Jimmy's behalf.
