President's Message
Welcome to Oak Ridge Little League!
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Oak Ridge Little League and we are all extremely excited! I've watched our fall ball finish off their season and WOW they have improved! This fall we saw many new kids join our family at ORLL and I hope to see them come spring, where I know they will become fine young ball players.
With the 2012 spring season upon us, we have high hopes for yet another successful season of baseball and softball. We have made great strides in improving our fields, our equipment and most importantly, our coaches. I believe the people who have been around for a while can tell how much this league has changed for the better! We now have a new board whose main focus is to make this league the place where the kids want to come and play!
ORLL is a community based program where the kids in your neighborhood play ball with the kids from your neighborhood. It is a place where we can build a strong sense of community and teach great family values, not to mention the life-long friendships that are made along the way.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me! My name is Thomas Mercurio and I have been with ORLL as a baseball player, parent, umpire, coach, manager, and now your league's president.
