Baseball Division and Age Group JR/SR-15U Major-12U Minor-10U Farm -8U T ball 6U

Inter-league By-Laws

General

  1. A player whose 2011 LL age exceeds the age level for his/her division cannot pitch.
  2. No player shall exceed the age limit for a division by more than 1 year. (Note: All 12 yr olds from the 2010 regular season are considered LL age 13 for Fall-Ball and should play on a JR/SR - 15U team.)
  3. Home leagues must ensure all volunteers have and approved background check
  4. Practices are scheduled by managers.
  5. Season September 18 to November 20th
  6. Games played only on Saturdays ... game time: 10am and 11:30pm 1:00 pm
  7. Two hour time limit except for T-Ball. 90 mins.
  8. Continuous batting order.
  9. Instructional level of play ... no standings.
  10. Both teams will provide 1 game ball.
  11. Home team prep field ... chalking not required.
  12. Regular season rules apply except where noted below.
  13. Free substitution
  14. No player-will sit-on the bench 2 innings in a row.
  15. Pitchers will not pitch more than 2 innings (pitch count rule not in affect).
  16. Inning over at 3 outs or 5 runs per inning except for T-Ball. T-ball 3 innings or 90 mins. Everybody bats and plays defense
  17. Managers and coaches umpire own game (can use umpires if both teams agree in 15U and 12U only)
    1. Defensive team calls ball, strikes, home and 2nd base behind pitcher
    2. Offensive base coaches call their respective 1st and 3rd base
    3. No protest
  18. Rescheduled games due to rainouts or not played can be rescheduled between the two Managers. No double headers on Saturday.

12U/10UDivision

  1. Team Roster: 12+ players

8U

  1. Coach Pitch: 3 Swinging Strikes or 6 pitches per batter unless 6th pitch is fouled off (then repeat), no walks

6U

  1. Baseball: Use L5 (T-ball) soft Baseballs. Division Rep to poll managers at mid-season to consider moving to L9 or RS baseballs
