Baseball Division Information

T-Ball: The primary goals of T-Ball are to instruct children in the very basic fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. It's all about fun.  Players hit off the tee for the first half of the season and begin to hit from coach pitch at the halfway point. Players bat through the lineup every inning for 3 innings. All kids play in the field every inning. No score is kept.  Games are on Saturdays, with the possibility of a weekday game in June. Practices are once a week. Games played at Anderson T-Ball field.

AA: Players begin learning more fundamentals. Coach pitch for first half of the season, then players begin pitching.  Players pitch 4 balls with no balls or strikes. No score is kept. Every player gets at least one inning of infield every game. Continuous batting order, thus every player bats even though only 9 (or 10) play in the field. The team batting bats until 3 outs or 10 batters.  There are 3 to 4 baseball events (games and practices) per week. Games are on Saturdays and one weekday. Games played at Bernal AA Field.

AAA: Competitive baseball is played. Games are played on a 60 ft diamond with a 46 ft pitching mound. An umpire is required for all games.  Pitchers pitch with balls and strikes.  Players are required to play at least 4 innings in the field (2 for a 4-inning game) with a continuous batting order (every player bats).   There are 3 to 4 baseball events (games and practices) per week. Games are on Saturdays and one weekday. Most games are played at Bernal AAA Field.  However, travel is possible to Oak Grove fields for some away games.

Majors:  Games are played on a 60 ft diamond with a 46 ft pitching mound. An umpire is required for all games. Players are required to play at least 3 innings in the field (2 for a 4-inning game) and have at least 1 at bat. There are 3 to 4 baseball events (games and practices) per week. Games are on Saturdays and one weekday. Most games are played at Anderson Field.  However, travel is required to other area fields.  This is the level seen at the Little League World Series.
